Graduate of Science (Biology) in the specialty of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid in 1988. Introduction to Research grant in 1987\/88 academic year. Predoctoral<\/strong> Fellow at the Autonomous University of Madrid and Biochemistry internship assistant. Scholar with a grant associated with a Serono-University of Le\u00f3n Coordinated Research Project at the Department of Ecology, Genetics and Microbiology of University of Le\u00f3n based on the development of vectors for the secretion of polypeptidic hormones in Streptomyces<\/em>. Honorary Collaborator between 1989 and 1991. CSIC Research Assistant<\/strong> at the Rhizosphere Genetic Ecology Group belonging to Zaid\u00edn Experimental Station (Granada) (1992) in the Department of Soil Microbiology and Symbiotic Systems. Doctorate from the University of Granada in 1996. Large Scale Facility Grant in 1999 in SILVOLAB-GUYANE, Kourou, French Guiana for the study of molecular microbial diversity in soils from French Guiana and the rhizosphere of Dicorynia guianensis<\/em>. Medium Degree Specialist Technician in 2005 and Specialized Higher Graduate in 2010.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

He has supervised 3 final master’s projects in recent years. Professor of the courses \u00abMetagenomics and genomics of rhizobacteria\u00bb belonging to the official Master of \u00abBiotechnology\u00bb and \u00abBiology and Molecular Ecology of bacteria of agroforestry interest\u201d belonging to the official Master of \u201cGenetics and Evolution\u00bb, both from the University of Granada, where we introduce students to the use of various computer tools for the analysis of metagenomic sequences obtained by Illumina massive sequencing. Professor of the BioLink Cost Action Training School \u00abSoil Biodiversity in Tree Crops\u00bb held at the CIHEAM-IAMB in Bari, Italy, in September 2017. Currently his work is directed to the study of the metagenome and the metranscriptome of various forest and agricultural ecosystems associated with the roots of plants of agroforestry interest (quercines, olive trees, pine, …).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
