ERC consolidator grant awarded to Ainhoa Martínez Medina

Our PI, Ainhoa Martínez Medina, has been awarded one of the European Commission’s most prestigious and competitive grants, an ERC Consolidator Grant, worth €2.5 million, to advance an alternative and sustainable strategy for insect pest control in agriculture: the use of beneficial microorganisms capable of modulating the plant immune system and inducing plant resistance.
