New greenhouse facilities inaugurated in January 2026!
In January 2026, we inaugurated our new greenhouse facilities, marking a major step forward for our research on plant–microbe–insect interactions. The new infrastructure includes a large state-of-the-art cultivation area and 15 agro-units.
These agro-units make the facility unique, as they allow highly controlled experiments across multiple trophic levels. This setup enables us to characterize complex multitrophic interactions and to investigate how microbe-induced resistance (MIR) extends beyond the plant, leaving a measurable MIR imprint in insect pests and their natural enemies.
The new greenhouse provides a cutting-edge experimental platform to advance our mechanistic understanding of MIR and its ecological consequences, reinforcing our commitment to innovative and sustainable strategies for crop protection.
